Sampling
Sampling Procedure
Simple regressions will be used to examine the association between variables of interest from the census data, such as morbidity and household composition, and the outcome variables from the baseline psychological data already collected.
Multiple regression and logistic regression analyses will then be used to examine which of the factors identified in the univariate analyses as significant, have independent effects on children's psychological functioning. We also plan to conduct structural equation modeling (path analyses) to develop a model of risk and protective factors and processes.
