<abstract>
        <![CDATA[This project aims to develop and evaluate different approaches to anonymizing Agincourt HDSS data to facilitate broader release of geocoded data for research requiring the inclusion of contextual data. We argue that linking HDSS social data with spatially precise, longitudinal environmental observations provides extraordinary opportunities for research on the environmental aspects of shifts in population, health and well-being. This proposal has four elements:
1.	identify, acquire and process climate and earth observational data for the northeast of South Africa, 1996-2016;
2.	integrate long-term ecological data with the longitudinal social data within the Agincourt HDSS;
3.	demonstrate the enhanced research potential through extension of prior research on AIDS-related impacts on natural resource-based livelihoods;
4.	reach out to the INDEPTH network with the goal of identifying at least 2 other study settings interested in social-ecological data integration.]]>
